Customer Care Representative
Advanced Diabetes Supply provides mail order diabetic testing supplies to customers nationwide. Our highly trained staff and state of the art technology ensures fast and convenient home delivery anywhere in the country. We are looking to add to our Customer Service and Inside Sales team. A successful candidate will be energetic, reliable and positive, with excellent phone and computer skills. Bilingual English-Spanish candidates are preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Answers inbound calls, and makes outbound calls to current patients, regarding reordering of diabetic supplies (approximately 65 total calls/day). No cold calling.
- Verifies that reorders meet company and insurance guidelines.
- Communicates with doctor’s offices regarding patient prescriptions.
- Updates customer accounts in company database.
- Creates, prints and mails patient correspondence.
- General office duties, including copying, scanning and filing.
- Reports on unshipped order discrepancies on daily basis.
- Reports phone call totals on daily basis.
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years customer service, call center or inside sales experience with heavy phone use.
- High school diploma or GED required
- Computer literate in MS Word; database data entry experience preferred
- Excellent customer service skills, including phone and inter personal skills
- Clear dictation and knowledge of the English language, both written and verbal
- Fluency in Spanish language preferred, both written and verbal
- Work history of excellent attendance and punctuality
- Solid mathematical skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division, common fractions and decimals.
