MyGlucoHealth Meter MyGlucoHealth Meter by Entra Health Systems
The MyGlucoHealth Meter from Entra Health Systems is the world's first FDA Cleared integrated Bluetooth-enabled blood glucose meter. With rapid testing results available in 3 seconds or less, smallest blood sample size (.3µL) and automatic coding of test strips, the MyGlucoHealth meter is the most technically advanced diabetic patient care product on the market today. Technology Behind the MyGlucoHealth MeterThe MyGlucoHealth Network provides a quick and easy way for diabetic patients to measure and self-monitor blood glucose levels. It should be used only for testing blood glucose (sugar) and only with fresh capillary whole blood samples. It should not be used for the diagnosis of diabetes or for the testing of newborns (neonates). The MyGlucoHealth Meter employs glucose enzyme oxidase on the test strip that reacts specifically with blood glucose generating an electrical current that is converted and displayed as a blood glucose level. The MyGlucoHealth system features an auto coding system using capillary whole blood, which is plasma-calibrated and offers easy comparison of results with laboratory methods. Other Blood glucose meters which are not calibrated similarly or do not use capillary whole blood method may have different results in comparison to MyGlucoHealth meters. The laboratory system used for calibration of the MyGlucoHealth system is equipped with the YSI 2300 STAT, which is a glucose oxidase system. Simple To Use

Plasma-calibrated AccuracyWhile all home blood glucose meters use whole blood to measure glucose, lab equipment uses only the plasma portion of blood, meaning the red blood cells are removed before glucose is measured. Because of this difference in sample types, whole blood test results are approximately 12 percent lower than plasma test results. A few high-end or professional quality blood glucose meters, including the MyGlucoHealth meters, are already calibrated or set to give a “plasma” test result, making this conversion unnecessary. For an accurate comparison of your blood glucose meter to a laboratory result, you must first know how your meter is calibrated. The MyGlucoHealth Blood Glucose Monitoring System includes:
