What sets the Dexcom G7® CGM System apart from other systems (including Dexcom’s previous CGMs) is the new features it brings to the table. This system is more accurate than any other CGM sold in America, and it warms up twice as fast as other CGM systems.†† Along with that, you’ll be able to use the Dexcom G7® CGM System with an all-new app.

Failure to use the Dexcom G7® Continuous Glucose Monitoring System (G7®) and its components according to the instructions for use provided with your device and available at https://www.dexcom.com/safety-information and to properly consider all indications, contraindications, warnings, precautions, and cautions in those instructions for use may result in you missing a severe hypoglycemia (low blood glucose) or hyperglycemia (high blood glucose) occurrence and/or making a treatment decision that may result in injury. If your glucose alerts and readings from the G7® do not match symptoms, use a blood glucose meter to make diabetes treatment decisions. Seek medical advice and attention when appropriate, including for any medical emergency.

How Long Do Dexcom G7 Sensors Last?

What Makes the Dexcom G7 Different?

The Dexcom G7® CGM System offers the same fundamental glucose testing process as other Dexcom CGMs. However, it adds several new features to make life easier for people with diabetes. These features include significantly smaller sensors, a refreshed mobile app, and shorter sensor warm-up times.

The amount you can expect to pay for the Dexcom G7® CGM System will vary depending on your personal insurance coverage. Despite this, Dexcom intends for insurance coverage for its newest system to be equal to that offered for the Dexcom G6.

Among adults wearing sensors on the upper arm, this CGM system’s MARD (or mean absolute relative difference) is 8.2 percent—a significant improvement over the Dexcom G6®’s MARD of 9 percent.

Where Should I Wear My Dexcom G7 Sensor?
